My federal refund was approved, while my state was rejected. Will the federal still process?

My federal refund was approved, while my state was rejected. Will the federal still process?
Yes, your federal return will not be impacted by your state return. Your state and federal returns are processed by two separate government entitites. Your federal return is processed by the IRS. Your state return is processed by your state's Department of Revenue. One return does not impact the other.

Approved, or just Accepted? They are different.
