My federal and state taxes are accepted, but i saw an instruction before submitting that my state taxes cannot be electronically filed? and that I need to mail it?

If TurboTax says your federal and state returns are accepted then they were. You might have received that message because not being able to electronically file because some state forms were not ready when you filed.

State tax departments are smaller than the IRS so it often takes them more time to approve forms.

Just to be sure, I’d double-check.

You can look up your state refund status on your tax state website.

I did reach out to Department of Revenue later that day, just to make sure i did it correctly. The personnel confirmed that they received my returns as filed 🙂
