My employer's state ID number does not fit in the box - can the character limit be increased?

I have not included the dash, but the last number does not fit in the box.

If the employer state ID number (Box 15) does not fit in the TurboTax box, enter as many characters as possible from the left, or use the 9-digit federal EIN from Box b instead. The state ID is often used for internal state tracking, so a shortened number or the federal EIN usually suffices for e-filing with TurboTax.
