An Employer EIN is exactly 9 digits, no more and no less. In the format xx-xxxxxxx

Contact your employer and get a corrected W-2.

That number looks like it is a state id number. What are you trying to enter? A W2 or what? On a W2 The EIN employer ID number is in box b. It should be right above the employer's name.
