My employer did not withhold any federal taxes all year. I didn't notice until I got my W2. My W4 is correct, not exempt, 1 dependant. Why?

Ask the employer why.   But if that W-2 is correct and no federal tax was withheld it is too late to change that.  Depending on how much you earned, and the other variables that affect your tax liability, you may owe.   Or maybe you were not going to make enough with your one dependent to have a tax liability.....enter your W-2 and your other information and see how it all comes out.

Ask your employer wy there was no witholding. Ask for a loan to pay the taxes too.

The manager is looking into it. Apparently I'm not the only employee this happened to. It's very much their mistake. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some IRS change that I wasn't aware of that would cause this to happen.
