My daughter was considered disabled as a child, but turned 18 during this year. She's no longer considered disabled. How should I answer her disability status?

Turing 18 is not relevant.  19 is the important age.

There are two types of dependents, "Qualifying Children"(QC) and Other ("Qualifying Relative" in IRS parlance even though they don't have to actually be related).

A child of a taxpayer can still be a “Qualifying Child” (QC) dependent, regardless of his/her income, if:

  1. He is under age 19, or under 24 if a full time student for at least 5 months of the year, or is totally & permanently disabled (at any age).

See full dependent rules at: https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/tax-tips/Family/Rules-for-Claiming-a-Dependent-on-Your-Tax-Return/INF12139.html

The way your question is phrased, it sounds like you think reaching a certain age automatically changes her disability status. That is not usually the case.

A child's disability doesn't affect tax filing until he turns 19 (24 if a full time student). Then his disability allows him to continue to be considered a "Qualifying Child" for tax purposes regardless of age.

Truthfully ... if she is no longer considered disabled simply answer no.

If you are claiming her as your dependent and she is no longer disabled then do NOT check the box for being disabled when entering her information in the My Info section of the TurboTax program.
