The only way for you to do that is file or amend your 2021 tax return and claim your child on a 2021 return-----and only IF you could rightfully claim her for 2021. Not just because the dad had a problem.

WHO CAN I CLAIM AS A DEPENDENT?
You can claim a child, relative, friend, or fiancé (etc.) as a dependent on your 2022 taxes as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
Qualifying relative
When you add someone as a dependent, we'll ask a series of questions to make sure you can claim them. There may be other tax benefits you can get when you claim a dependent.
Why did the Dad get denied last year? Did someone else claim her last year? Are you sure you didn't claim her for 2021? Double check your return.
No I didn't they asked for birth certificate so I got him one and they still denied him and it was my year to claim her but I even wrote a letter that we agreed that he claim her for 2 years because I brought a mobile home from him. He had no issues for 2020 and also told me he didn't receive her stimulus or child tax credit. So I have no idea my best option is to just take the loss and continue to claim her I suppose
