If she is not a full time student, you cannot claim her as dependent because she is 19 or older and earned more than $4,050.

If she was a full time student, you can claim her as a dependent if you provided more than half of her support in 2017.

If she is claimed as a dependent, she does not get her own exemption of $4,050 on her tax return and will get less refund than if she files as a non-dependent.
