My daughter is e-filling for the first time her 2018 return. Message is requesting her 2017 pin. She doesn't have a PIN because there was not filling, can she e-file?

The 2017 PIN is optional. continue on.
If AGI of zero does not work, a first time filer will have to file a paper return via US Mail.
