My daughter filed her tax returns as a non-dependent. She is in my return as a dependent. How can I change it to a non-dependent? Do I just delete her?

Yes, if you do not wish to claim her, return to My Info and delete her information from your tax return.

Same situation, but I want to claim her next year.  And my non-dependent older daughter can stay on my return without being claimed.??  Why the diff??
