My daughter and I live with her mother (my girlfriend) who is claiming her on her taxes. How do I fill out my section on how long she lived with me?

Start over....Who is trying to claim whom?   Are you trying to claim your GF as YOUR dependent?  But you live with HER mother?   If GF's mother is claiming GF you do not enter anything at all about GF on your tax return.

What are you trying to do?

Only one person can claim a dependent.  If your GF is claiming the daughter then you don't enter daughter on your return at all.

My girlfriend is claiming our daughter. We all live together. But I’m not sure what to put under the question on how long my daughter lived with me since I am not claiming her.

Oh.....you mean all of you live together.....you, GF and your daughter together.   Only one of you claims the child.  The other one does not enter anything at all on their tax return about the chiild.

(and I am humming that song "I'm my own Grandpa....")
