My dad is going to claim head of house hold for 2016. I did not move in until March of 2016 can I still claim head of house hold?

We split all bills, but I still pay additional for food and supplies when needed.

Although it's unusual, two separate families sharing one house CAN at times both claim Head of Household.  It would depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each case.
