My control number isn’t working on turbo tax but on my w2 it has the same control number as I imputed into turbo tax what do i do?

My control number on my w2 is c and when I put that into turbo tax it won’t accept it

You are not required to use the control number. Just leave it blank.

If you get errors when attempting to import your W-2, select Skip import and manually enter your W-2.

If you get errors when attempting to e-file, just enter any number in this format: 5 digits, space, 5 digits (for example 12345 67890). The IRS doesn't care what's in box D.
