My claim of right repayment over $3000 section keeps getting added to my unemployment Form 1099-G. This is incorrect. How do I fix this bug?

Whenever I enter an amount in Claim of right repayment over $3,000 the Turbotax software is automatically adding this $ amount to Unemployment and Paid Family Leave Form 1099-G.

It's just a quirk of the way TurboTax handles the claim of right repayment. It appears on the TurboTax summary screen, but it's not on your tax return. Ignore it.

Where are you seeing this?  Please clarify.

In TurboTax Online, I have reported:

• Unemployment income reported on IRS form 1099-G, and 
• the claim of right repayment over $3,000.

The unemployment income is reported under Your wages and income.

The claim of right repayment is reported under Let's get some more info about these additional tax breaks.
