My child was born in March of 2017 and in August we went for long vacation.She lived in US with as for 5 months before leaving for vacation.Do we qualify for EITC?

My concern is what should i write in section that asks how many months she lived with me in US.Previous question asked how many months she lived with me and i selected answer "whole year".Please help me,i am not sure if question is about residency or physical presence in US.Thank you.

Your vacation is considered as a temporary absence and you can answer that your child lived in the US for the whole year. And she is a qualifying child for EITC purposes.
