What deduction are you referring to?
Are you filing Single or Married Filing Separately? Yes the extra deduction for over 65 is 1750 for Single and 1400 for MFS or Joint. Go back though My Info to check your filing status.
For 2022 the standard deduction amounts are:
Single 12,950 + 1,750 for 65 and over or blind (14,700)
HOH 19,400 + 1,750 for 65 and over or blind (21,150)
Joint 25,900 + 1,400 for each 65 and over or blind (27,300/28,700)
Married filing Separate 12,950 + 1,400 for 65 and over or blind (14.350)
Yes, it's $1,750 for single seniors. For Married or Qualifying Widower it is only $1,400. Once you enter your DOB it'll automatically deduct the correlating amount from your taxable income. After entering your deductions and credits and clicking done, it'll take you to a review page where it'll show you, your Standard Deduction amount. It is working fine on my side for someone born in 1946.
