My bank card was just charged $42.79 today November 8, 2017 I want to know why?

That was probably for the Advantage plan auto renew.  It is for next year's 2017 Desktop program.  Do you have a full Windows or Mac computer to install it on? I see you are asking from a iPhone or tablet.

No I do not.  I do not think I agreed to this purchase. Or does this pay for next years filing?

I'm in the same boat. Did not agree. Will dispute the charge. Poor customer service as well. I guess you get what you pay for

Yes it is for next year's 2017 program.  You can download it now.   If you are on the Advantage Auto renewal program and ordered the CD you will also get both the Windows and Mac Downloads.   So you don't have to wait for the CD or if you don't have a CD drive or if you need to install it again.

For refunds and billing call support.  Put in BILLING ISSUE instead of using the word Refund.
