My amended federal return was rejected (I believe because the AIG for spouse was wrong upon submittal). How do I resubmit online? Turbo says to use 'Fix my return' button

...I don't can't find a 'Fix my return' button, just the tax home screen with the only option being to Download return?

Are you trying to amend the current year tax return? Efiling for an amended return is available for the current year only. If you are trying to amend a prior year return, you may have to print and mail the return.

Yes, this is for 2024 returns. My issue seems to be more software related. It says I can fix the amended return but there is no option too. All I get is the tax home screen which shows my accepted return and rejected amend. Kinda stuck.

Open your tax file and go to File. Proceed to the screen, "Review Your Federal Filing Choices". Review your Identifying Information (AGI). If you filed a prior year return, you must enter the Prior Year AGI for the Taxpayer (and Spouse if applicable). Do not use the tabs at the top of the screen to exit this interview. Once you have made the necessary corrections, you may resubmit this return for electronic filing. If the reject continues, you may need to print and file this return by mail.
