My 8 prior years' returns are on this Microsoft computer. Can I export or transfer prior years' information to my MacBook Pro that does not have the normal USB ports?

Yes, you can upload the .tax file using any document transfer service (like Google Drive or gmail or One Drive, except Macs) and then download it on the mac. If you have a gmail account, it can take awhile to upload to gmail, but it will attach automatically using google drive.
