My 2022 Tax return status was "Accepted" in turbotax but "rejected" by the IRS. How can I ensure that my 2022 return is properly filed?

I received an email shortly after submitting the return requesting more information from turbotax. I then completed this and got the status "Accepted." It seems the IRS received the first submission and not the second. I'd like support in remedying the situation so i can get access to my tax refund.

Sorry----your description of what happened with your 2022 return is confusing and it is hard to figure out what you really did.   What does it say in your TurboTax account now for that return?  Does it say "Accepted"---- or does it say "Rejected", "Printed" or "Ready to Mail?"    If it says anything other than "Accepted" then the return was not filed successfully.   If the return was not filed, then you can now file it---but you will have to file by mail.  E-filing is closed permanently for 2022 returns.

Just guessing here. But my guess is TurboTax says your tax return was "SENT" to the IRS. Not accepted by the IRS.
If it was accepted by the IRS, then you can print your return and see if there's a paper called "Electronic Postmark" in the printout. If you don't have that, then it was not accepted by the IRS.
