My 2021 NY state driver's license doc ID is not being accepted

I have a valid NY state driver's license that does not expire until next year but TT is not accepting my doc ID for filing.

Enter the first 3 characters after, not including "IDUSA".  Some other users experienced errors with incorrect issue and expiry dates, so double check they are correct and not swapped as well.

I have entered all doc ID characters from the back of the ID exactly as they appear. There is no IDUSA. The dates were not swapped. The error message was the same "enter 3 characters" however there are none. This is a bug.

Check the pictures provided by NY to ensure you are using the right number. (It's not the DMV-ID number)

I am completely certain that I was using the Doc # on the back side of the license. It is in the right format and I entered the right characters. It appears on the NYS DMV page under "Issued October 30, 2017 - March 9, 2022" and TurboTax is not accepting it as a valid number. It is a bug.

But did you enter only the first three characters/numbers.

ONLY three....not the whole number.
