My 1099-DIV has only my name on it, not my wife's, but we are filing jointly. Do I answer the the income belongs to just me, or to both of us?

My thinking is that because we are filing jointly, the answer might be "both of us".

Yes, you can say it belongs to you or to both of you. If you were to file separately or file an Injured Spouse form, you would need to allocate it to it's rightful owner
