My 1040 did not show a checkmark on "Check here if your main home, and your spouse’s if filing a joint return, was in the U.S. for more than half of 2025". We did.

If you have already filed your tax return, it doesn't make any difference whether the box is checked or not, unless you are eligible for the Earned Income Credit (EIC). If you went through the EIC section of TurboTax you would have been asked if your main home was in the U.S. and the box would have been checked.

If you have not filed your tax return yet, this has been fixed in TurboTax. The box will now be checked.

That box is only important to you if you are trying to get earned income credit.

You can check the box when you do the Federal Review. You will get a screen that says "Let's take a second look at your info".
