Moving the Turbo Tax software

I had originally installed the 2023 software on my small travel laptop. I was in a rehab facility and could not finish my taxes on time. I now need to use my main laptop to finish the tax return. How can I move the program to a new laptop?

You will have to install the 2023 desktop program using the CD or Download you purchased on the new computer.

You will have to copy the 2023 tax data file from the old computer to the new computer.  The 2023 tax data file is stored, by default, in the TurboTax folder within the Documents directory.  The tax data file has a file extension of .tax2023.
