When I select "Itemized Deductions" and look at the summary, Mortgage Interest is at zero. The home is less them $300,000 and we are filing married/joint. This is our primary residence. We are not using Standard Deduction. Why isn't the mortgage interest being credited?

can we assume this is a first mortgage used to acquire the home or if you refinanced, there was no cash out?

I'm having the same problem. everything ids filled in and line F 9 has a balance but it doesn't carry over to the schedule A. it shows up here but not on schedule A.Why is it not populating to Schedule A. it was a refinance for home improvements on primary residence.
The program should have asked if it was a refinanced loan, and if you answered "Yes" it would have asked what you did with the money.
Be sure to answer that it was used on the home if that is the case.
If you need to go back and edit, it's easier to delete the original 1098 and reenter it.
