Mom died 2017, filing MFJ return for Dad. Death date, etc.. are in the software. but when I go to efile, it won't because it wants her DL information. How to efile?

You will need to mail your Dad's return to the IRS. The IRS generally will not accept an e-filed return for a decedent.
This is because Social Security freezes Social Security numbers when a person dies, to prevent fraud.
