Mom died 1/15. Filing her '18 taxes; small refund due. I'm only heir. Probate just opened, so what do I check for "Does Name have a certified personal representative"?

Upon the opening of probate, you, or someone else if named as executor, should have received Letters Testimentary from the Probate Court, allowing the named person to represent and act on behalf of the estate. That is the person to whom this question refers. If you do not know, this would be a good question for your attorney or the Clerk of the Probate Court.
