I'm retired but not yet on SS or Medicare. My taxable income is whatever I choose to take from my IRA. Last year, end of 2023, when signing up for Marketplace insurance, I accidentally entered a projected income that was slightly lower than the Medicaid cap (I must have been using the previous year's figure). I immediately corrected it with a higher income projection, but the marketplace had already sent the info to my state to see if I qualified for Medicaid, and the state automatically signed me up. As soon as I found out, I contacted the state to say I don't qualify for Medicaid; my income would be too high, and they cancelled it in early December of 2023.
Now I just got a 1095-B from the state claiming I was covered for one month of 2024, January. Is that going to force me to pay back the subsidy for that month? Is it possible to get this corrected, or since the state regarded me as covered, even though I didn't qualify, is it unfixable?

No, you won't be forced to pay back the subsidy you received from the Healthcare Marketplace. Medicaid is separate from the Healthcare Marketplace. Just enter your Form 1095-A as you normally would.
The Form 1099-B you received from Medicaid is just for your information.
