Different people take longer or shorter depending on the circumstances and the jobs that those individuals have held. Its possible that two different people in your circumstance could, on the first available day receive their return and the other gets their return on the last day told.

It's on the way. I wouldn't worry about anything until the last date that it says you should have your refund by. But it shouldn't come to that. If your girlfriend already got it then yours isn't far behind. Patience is a virtue my friend!
