Can we just file an EZ form this year? At the end of the work we did today it tells us to file standard deductions. So would an EZ form be better for us?

Maybe.  There are more factors that just the itemized vs. standard deduction issue that determines what Form 1040 you must file.  See the information below to have a better idea of what "level" of TurboTax you'll need.

If you DO decide that you can use TurboTax Free Edition and use Form 1040EZ, you'll need to downgrade your program from the current TurboTax Premier edition that it appears you're posting from.  In order to downgrade you'll need to use the "Clear and Start Over" feature detailed below.  Just keep in mind that you'll lost all data you've already entered.
