Maxed out SS taxes paid early in 2022. switched employers later in 2022 thereby overpaying. how do I get refunded via turbotax, it is not showing in federal refund number

I have entered all w2 details and turbo tax window popped up stating I overpaid and would get refunded but it was never reflected in the federal refund number.

It was probably there before you noticed it. Check 1040 Schedule 3 line 11 which goes to 1040 line 31.
