Married US Citizens Living in Different Countries, can we file jointly and use the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion?

My wife and I are both US citizens, I am living and working in the US and she is living and working abroad. Can we file jointly and still apply the foreign earned income exclusion to her income?

Yes, your spouse can use the Form 2555, Foreign Earned Income on a joint tax return if she is eligible.

Go to this IRS website for foreign earned income exclusion information - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/foreign-earned-income-exclusion
