When you file as married filing separately you do not need to report you spouses income on your return. You do need to provide his name and social security number, but not his wages.

Should we file separately? If i were single my income would allow me to get the $4000 Used Clean Vehicle Tax Credit but with my spouses higher income we do not qualify.
