Married in October 2018. I live in Florida. He lived in Virginia, now in Florida. We filed federal married joint return, but need to file Virginia for just him. I already paid for Turbotax premier. I don't want to pay for a download software.

The only way you can use the TT software to prepare your Virginia return is to pay for it. You can try going on the state's website and getting the forms to prepare by hand.
