Married Filing Separately - Claiming W-2G In Spouse's Name?

My wife and I won some money from a lottery scratch-off ticket.  Since I was the one who went to the lottery office to claim the winnings, it is my name on the W-2G form.  Since it is actually money won by the both of us, can I have the winning claimed on my wife's federal income tax return instead of mine, since we are married but filing separately?   We live in Florida.

No. The W2-G's should be reported on the tax return of the recipients' social security number. Since it is under your name, you should put it on your tax return.
