When manually entering my crypto sales in the desktop version on the Income/Investments screen, I select "Regular digital asset" and fill in the info. All the numbers calculate correctly, however, on the summary screen, each transaction gets flagged as "Needs Review" and the Description field is set to "Untitled" even though I entered the name of the crypto and correct quantity.
Anyone else seeing this?

I entered manual crypto sales in TurboTax Desktop Premier. I selected Digital Assets at the screen OK, let's start with one investment type. I also selected 'Regular digital asset' at the screen Now, enter one sale for XXXXX.
I noticed that the entry acts differently depending upon whether I answer Yes or No at the screen Did you get a 1099-DA from XXXX?
If I select No, I see the Need Review message that you describe. I have to run Federal Review and Smart Check to update the entry.
If I select Yes, I selected One by One at the screen Now, choose how to enter your sales. Then I do not see the Need Review message that you describe.
I am only seeing this experience when using Digital Assets at the screen OK, let's start with one investment type.

Thanks for the research. Looks like going the Smart Check path also fixed the flag not being set correctly for digital assets on form 8949 (setting box C/F instead of box I/L).
Still, it's a pretty painful workaround when you have a decent number of sales since it is three corrective steps per transaction entered. Seems like a code fix would be in order to fix the initial data entry.
