Major Purchase Sales Tax Percentage Wrong

in the Personal > Deductions > Estimates & Other > Sales Tax section, it has me put in our state sales tax percentage.

then, further in, under the Enter Major Purchases section, it asks for the type & name of said purchase, then its "Cost Excluding Tax" & "Sales Tax Paid" & "Sales Tax Percent".

my calculation of the percentage here does NOT match my state sales tax. what do i do about that? do i just put in my state percentage here or do i put in what it figures out to actually be?

Major Purchase Sales Tax Percentage Wrong

i spoke with TurboTax support & they advised to leave the percentage field blank (since i have the other two fields filled in). the end "review" did not throw up any flags, so that seems to be fine.
