Mailed my 2020 and efiled my 2021 on the same date. 2021 taxes were both rejected. IS this because they havent processed my 2020 forms? Should I just wait and refile?

OK ... since the IRS could not have possibly processed the 2020 return BEFORE 10/30/2021 then use a single ZERO for the AGI in the 2021 program to efile it.

I was going to use 0 for my AGI as directed, but this is the next sentence in turbo tax on that same page that suggests using 0,,,so I hesitate as I don't want to get rejected again. Here is the sentence: "The IRS will reject your tax return again if this isn't the AGI from your original 2020 tax return"

Thank you - will try the 0 AGI and cross all my digits!

The program even asks you if the 2020 return has been processed yet ( you know it was not since you just mailed it in) so all you had to do is follow the interview screens and a ZERO would have been entered for you ...
