Last year I got 2k back. This year it’s telling my return will be 300$. Why is it so low?

Not knowing your situation, I can only suggest that the most likely reason is that last year's return had stimulus and other covid-related enhancements that no longer apply.

A great way to find out what happened is to make a line by line comparison of this return and the prior one(s).

Can I change the account my return is to be deposited into? I had opened a checking account with Discover card and they closed it for inactivity. How do I fix this
