Last used Deluxe version-prior years could use Basic. I enter all my information. I have Sch D and K-1's. Can I use the Deluxe or even the Basic version? Thank you

If you buy the Desktop CD/Download program any version will work, you just get more help in the higher versions.  All Desktop programs have all the same forms.  Even Basic, but Basic does not come with a state return.  Don't know why you couldn't use Basic last year.  2 years ago for 2014 returns you did have to upgrade.  But they put back all the forms for 2015.
