Which is it, 1099-Misc or 1099-NEC?  If 1099-Misc, which box # is the $ in?

Why did you  get this money?  In general, the TurboTax (TT) interview guides you to where the income is reported.  1099-NEC income is usually self employment.  1099-Misc can be many things, including being issued when a 1099-NEC woulda-shoulda been more appropriate.
