K1 Partner Section A

Form K1 Section A, 1A is picking up the prior year carryover amount  instead of current year loss. This is inaccurately reflectioning the carryover loss going forward to 2025.

I believe this is an error in the programming.

Section A column (a) of Schedule K-1 is linked to your entries for Part II Lines 1 through 7. Carryover losses in column (b) can be directly entered either in Step-by-Step or using Forms Mode.

To confirm the amount you see on Line 1(a), right-click the number and choose "Data Source."
