Just retired. Didn't withhold in IRA withdrawal...

Made a $60 k withdrawal from an IRA without withholding anything.

I have the money to pay all taxes due w/ my return. Any thoughts about impact of my choice? Retirement scramble and all - this isn't the way I'll do things in the future! Are there penalties? What's my future look like?

You might have an under payment of tax penalty if you own more then $1,000 in additional tax.
