Just created a new account. Have never used TurboTax, Mint, QuickBooks or any other Intuit service. I entered my email, name and DOB only. How did it find my full SSN?!?

Did you import a W2? Or does your employer use Quickbooks Payroll?

Thanks, no. It showed my SSN as soon as I created the new account, before I entered any data other than my name, email and DOB. It was freaky, and the support chat bot could not explain it.

You can access and download your personal data:

1. Sign in to your Intuit Account here.
2. Select Data privacy.
3. Select Download and then follow the screens to submit your data request.
4. You’ll get an email once your data is ready, with instructions for downloading. Requests can take up to 15 days, depending on how much data is involved.
5. You'll be able to submit a new request for data from the same account after you receive that email.
6. Once you've downloaded your personal data file safely and securely from your Intuit Account, use the instructions below as needed to open the file and view it in a way that’s most helpful to you.

You can also delete any information:

1. Sign in to TurboTax, if you haven’t already.
2. Select Intuit Account on the left.
3. Select Data privacy.
4. Select Delete and then follow the screens to delete your data. If you want to delete data from any other Intuit Accounts, you'll be able to do that one account at a time. We'll walk you through it.
