@gotideladydog - just stop making the payments; there is nothing that you have to write the IRS about it.

What about on the state level?  I’m in PA

I don't see why PA would care either...it'll be evident comes next April if you overpaid or underpaid the estimates.

The Estimates are optional to pay.   The IRS and state won't be expecting them.   Just stop paying them.
