Its asking me all about my info and not my mothers whom im doing taxes for

You have to create a new account with a new unique user ID when starting a tax return for someone else using the online editions.  If you try and complete a tax return using your own account then the second tax return will overwrite the first tax return and the first tax return will be gone.
