It won't file, keep getting following message: "Hmm, looks like we hit a slight snag in this section". How do I get it to file?

It depends. I recommend completely signing out of TurboTax, and closing the browser window.

Wait a minute and then open a new incognito Chrome window. Sign back in to TurboTax and proceed with a review for the federal and the state.

Click the link for more instructions for E-filing Problems.

Just in case the return includes forms not available for electronic filing, click the links if you need to check:

Here is a list of IRS forms not supported in TurboTax.

Here is a list for federal forms availability and for state forms availability.

Typically, it takes approximately 24- 48 hours for your return to go from the pending status to the accepted status.  Once the IRS has accepted your return, it takes approximately an  additional 21 days for your return to be directly deposited into your bank account.

When you log into your TurboTax Online account, your filing status should be displayed on your homepage. You can  use our e-file status lookup tool to get your current status.

You can also check your refund status directly through the IRS using these links: Where’s My Refund on IRS.gov or the IRS mobile app, IRS2Go to check your status.
