Until all of your forms are ready you cannot choose the option in the FILE section to pay TurboTax fes using your federal refund. If you make that choice it is an extra fee of $39.99 for refund processing to allow a third party bank to take your fees from your refund and send remaining refund to you.
Many forms and schedules are not yet ready. When the IRS/state has finalized the forms you need then you will be able to file. Click Review to see what you have to wait for. The IRS is not accepting returns until January 27, so there is no hurry to file now. Filing now would not result in an early refund.
When all of your forms are ready you can go through the steps of the FILE section and choose to pay the extra $39.99 ($44.99 in CA) to have the fees deducted from your refund.
Is your refund big enough to cover the federal and state fees plus the EXTRA 39.99 Refund Processing Service charge (44.99 in California)?
