My amended return sys i owe 412 dollars but my tax return says im getting back 856 so im trying to find out why i owe

It sounds like your original return was showing a refund of $1,268.

When you made the change the refund was changed to $856.

Since the IRS has sent, or will be sending you, a refund of $1.268

and you should only be getting $856,

you will need to send the IRS the difference,

which is $412.
