It says I have two items selected at a cost of $80. I am paying out of my refund. It should only be $40.

You are posting from online Deluxe which is $40; if you prepared a state return that is another $40.  And the refund processing fee to have the fees deducted from your federal refund is an EXTRA $39.99.

You can opt out of the refund processing fee if you pay TT upfront with a credit/debit card.

This place rips you off. If you pay 40.00 for the upgrade then they charge you another 40.00 for paying it with your refund. Don’t use turbo tax

You can review any fees associated with your account by following the instructions below:

1. After signing in to TurboTax, open or continue your return.
2. Select Tax Tools on the left side of the screen and then Tools.
3. A Tools Center box will pop up on your screen.
4. Select the My Fees box on the right.

Tip: If these instructions don't work (for example, on your mobile device) open the File section and then proceed to the Review Your Order screen. This also shows the breakdown of your charges.
